Welcome Message

Digital literacy has become a vital part of education in today’s technological age. That means, learning to code is just as important as learning the “three Rs – reading, writing and arithmetic. Just as reading and writing are not all about preparing children to become professional journalists, the same is true for coding. Some may choose that path, while others may not. We teach computer programming to children not on the premise of future employment opportunities but to foster computational thought and the social-emotional development of your child's character.

Many parents are actually unaware of what coding is actually teaching beyond the benefits of future employment opportunities for their children. Coding is not just about being able to write code, it’s about teaching students to think like a coder. When kids learn how to write code they not only develop their creativity and cognitive skills but also learn the problem-solving process that’s similar to a computer. This process involves using pattern recognition to present the problems in different ways while logically breaking them down into parts and creating the steps needed to solve them.

While the main focus of early Montessori education revolves around physical independence, the primary years are about helping kids to think for themselves. Independent thinking is a tremendous mental effort for young children, and there are very few activities which allow them to acquire such skills as you will find in Computational Thinking. As Bill Gates said, learning to write programmes not only helps you think better but also stretches your mind.

We trust the information you find on our website will enable you to determine how we can contribute to the growth of your child’s coding journey. We look forward to meeting you and your child.
